Least I Could Do ยป LICD Moments in History: You know, on the one hand, it would have resolved all those pesky gun control arguments. On the other hand, it would have spawned an entirely new class of Second Amendment arguments, as well as a certain amount of confusion as to what on earth that had to do with a well-regulated militia. The court cases would be vastly amusing.
I do so love cynical pointed commentary. (This strip is a comment on this action by the Beloit Daily News, which is in turn an impressive overreaction to this particular Non Sequitur strip. And, you know, when I saw that strip, I thought (1) it was desperately unfunny, and (2) people were going to react very badly, because it was going to be incredibly easy to misinterpret. As they did.
And yet more cynical pointed commentary.
I just want to know the man-code for "Yes, I am sleeping with your son." I assume that the thumbgrab wouldn't be a part of it, or there'd be a lot more broken thumbs around.
That would explain so much about how ad people seem to think...
