All I have to say is: awww... Makes a guy wistful, it does.
And some people would appear to be very very lucky in their parents. Unless she's seriously deluded, of course.
Sadly, I have known people stupid enough to do this. Biologically adult(ish) people. Except most of them would have stood right there beside it to see what happened.
...Well, it's pretty much the same as regular insurance, these days.
The first book may be more "real", but I'll bet that last book is FAR more interesting.

And that last frame there would by why some video rental stores have cameras in those sections. Seriously. I made the mistake of asking about it, since it didn't seem likely that people would be stealing empty cases -- though they do also steal cases, it turns out. But mostly, not because of the thieves. And now you know more about how video stores operate than you ever ever ever wanted to.
If he ever ports that off the iPhone, he'll have more money than maybe even Gates. Maybe.
I have to admit, from a pure comics business point of view, the idea of Disney leveraging its hugeness to take the #1 comics publisher away from Diamond Distribution is ... intriguing. (That might also trigger the poison pill in Diamond's contract with DC, which would be even more entertaining, but for the fact that both options leave independents saying, "Um ... but what about us, here?") But mostly, that Darkwing Duck comic idea. Never happen, of course -- it's been off the air for what, fifteen years? But yes, I'd still go for it. (And regarding that last panel ... you so know that the House of Mouse would do that to the right people.)
You know, that was a very predictable result. Very. (Hey, at least it wasn't a catgirl frenzy, quite.)
One can but hope that Sprinkles is spayed, neutered or male, because the offspring just don't bear thinking about.
