Hum. They're trying to make a movie out of Astro City.
I don't know ... it's not that it's unfilmable, precisely, but if they're trying to be at all faithful to the comic book itself, it doesn't have the potential for a longrunning movie series, the way a studio would like. It doesn't stick with any one character. And given the plethora of super heroes around in the city, it would be a big, expensive movie. (The miniature of the Astro City beacon would be interesting to see, though.)
